Orthotics are a common and necessary part of good foot health
in today's society.
They can be very helpful if you have pain in the foot, knee
or hip and can also help with postural alignment where the foot
is at fault.
You can use this orthotic check list to see
if you are getting the most out of your orthotic and your foot
function.
- Are your orthotics comfortable?
- Do your orthotics fit in your shoes?
- Did you know that orthotics can be
hard, soft, flexible,
long or short?
- Did you know that orthotics come in different shapes and
sizes?
- Did you go back for an orthotic review after they were fitted?
- Have your orthotics helped you with your symptoms?
- Are your shoes properly supporting your orthotics?
- Are you able to exercise without pain?
- Are your running shoes the correct ones for you?
- Do you know if you need orthotics or not?
If you answered "no" or "don't know" to any of these questions,
you might benefit
from a Podiatry assessment for your orthotics, foot function
or your shoes.
